Tweets may echo, Likes are fleeting
From Black Lives Matter to Rafah's plea,
Posts can inspire, From screen to street
Digital activism initiates
Brings forth both passion and empty rage.
Social media, a canvas vast,
But can it make awareness last?
True awareness transforms
Tweets and posts start the dialogue
True awareness rise the dream
It must travel beyond the screen
To stand with those who need our aid
In real life, where change is made
Social media’s power’s last an impact,
But deeper actions seal the pact.
The line between meaningful connection
and mindless scrolling is thinner
Social media empower us or imprison us in a virtual sphere?
The answer to this
will be tweeted, posted, and shared.
